During my time at the School of Pharmacy, the incredible instructors and clinical preceptors have provided me with a monumental assortment of diverse experiences that prepared me to be a well-rounded pharmacist practitioner in any field.
Professors and deans of the school are very friendly and accessible. They really care about the students' success and ensuring needs are being met. Office hour participation, shadowing experiences, and even free coffee trips are all highly encouraged because they want to get to know you.
Participating in pharmaceutical research is a huge benefit of attending a research university like UW–Madison. I have been able to build a community within my research lab, work professionally with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, as well as use my knowledge to better the world of pharmacy.
